The field of patent and trade mark law has its own terminology and patent specifications have a very specific structure, which the patent translator must must know and comply with.
As a state certified, officially appointed and sworn translator (Memmingen Regional Court) with ten years of professional experience in the area of patent translations, I always ensure timely delivery and carefully researched terminology, as well double-checking the accuracy of the translation of the description, claims and figures.

How is a translation order processed in the case of patent translations?
As soon as we receive your inquiry, we immediately, prepare a precise quotation, stating the the delivery time. The cost of the translation is calculated according to the number of lines (one standard line containing 55 characters including blank spaces). Please send your text with your inquiry as a Word file, in scanned form or per fax, so that I can determine the correct number of lines.
Our price per word for the translation of patents comes to €0.13.
After an order has been placed, we prepare the German translation reliably, by the agreed delivery date and deliver the translation per e-mail. Payment is per invoice.
Here there is no minimum order amount - we are just as happy to translate your short text as we are to accept large projects.
